Wales is a World Class holiday destination! We were delighted to read this week that the Sunday Times newspaper rated Tenby’s Castle beach as the “Best UK beach” for 2020.
You can reach this beach by foot along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, on the bus or by car directly from our park. The walk is a beautiful coastal walk along the cliff tops with expansive views across Saundersfoot Bay and across to Caldey Island.
If you don’t fancy the walk the bus offers an excellent alternative to and offers an opportunity to see some more of our local countryside. It leaves at regular intervals throughout the day from directly outside our gates. A popular choice with guests is to walk to Tenby and then get the bus back after enjoying a spot of lunch in Tenby.
Alternatively for a more convenient option take the car. Tenby is only 15 minutes drive from here and there are plenty of parking options available. The town is only small and is easily explored on foot. There are 4 beaches in total around the town and they are all visible from the roads if you don’t fancy the walk down to them.
