We recently visited the Narberth Museum what a fantastic few hours we had here .
Narberth is a beautiful small market town 15 minutes drive from us here at White Gate Caravan Park. The town is known for it’s variety of food outlets and also for championing local arts and crafts. The Narberth annual Food Festival is a very popular event and you can find more details of this year’s event which will be held on 22 and 23 September here.
The Museum is an absolute treat and kept us all enthralled. Our party included a 7 year old and a 70 year old and we all found something to inform and entertain us.
The amount of information contained in a relatively small space is amazing and it is all presented in creative and imaginative ways so that we all were able to engage with the exhibits and came away having learnt something new about Narberth.
I have visited Narberth hundreds of time since we moved here in 2012 and I now very much see the town from a wider perspective and appreciate the fascinating history of the place and the people who have developed it over the years.
The Museum shop and Cafe are delightful and a lovely place to browse and refresh after visiting the exhibits. It is so great to find another place that we can recommend to our guests, especially for those days when the weather is not so beachy!
